The Story behind our Brand...
Yasmine
Assalaamu ‘alaykum my dearest sisters!
My name is Yasmine, and I am the co-founder of the Amaanah London brand alongside my sister Zinab. My journey towards creating the brand all started because of my beautiful Mama who has over 55 years of tailoring experience!
As the eldest I was always the one taken to the labyrinth of haberdashery stores, seeing the most stunning materials and naturally being surrounded by my Mama’s sewing machines, every coloured thread you can imagine and the most beautiful of beads. Honestly, it was an endless array of choice... I started falling in love with abayas and modesty and started to design my own for which my Mama would make to perfection for me.
My Abayas were complemented through college and university days which made me realise how important it is for quality modest wear to be available and affordable for all the Muslimahs of today. For my sister it was a different journey... but I’ll leave that for her to tell you about.

My name is Zinab, I am the co-founder of the Amaanah London brand, my journey towards modesty was a little different to that of my sisters.
I have always appreciated the beauty of abayas but never felt confident enough to wear it myself, for years I struggled until I found myself, my style, my way, my comfort. And this is why we created this brand, to support you and give every single one of you a way to feel beautiful whilst on your journeys towards embracing the Muslimahs in you.
We wanted to blend luxury, elegance and simplicity but also provide a variation of styles and designs that will suit your every day and be a solution for when you’re stuck with what to wear to that wedding or graduation or Eid party. We have something for everyone, and the best part is that you won’t ever have to compromise on price or quality and for sure never on service as we will always be here to support, guide and advise you when and if you ever need us.
